Lester E. Addington, 81, of Ohio 104, Lucasville, Route 5, died Tuesday, May 26, 1992 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born April 28, 1911, in Virgie, KY, a son of the late William "Willie" Fillmore and Minerva Horne Addington, he was a retired farmer.

Proceeded in death July 2, 1991,by his wife, Mabel L. Addington, whom he married Mary 29, 1931 in Kentucky, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Beatrice Addington of Lucasville, route 1, a brother, Thomas Addington of Kings Mountain, KY; two sisters, Pearl Sims, of Danville, KY, and Mabel Montgomery of Vincennes, Indiana; three grandchildren, Steve Addington of Gallipolis, Rhonda Yager of Fort Worth, Texas, and Denise Stiverson of Otway; and seven great grandchildren, Charles and Amanda Yager, Nathan and Megan Stiverson, and Lindsey, Meredith, and Stephanie Addington.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville, with Rev. Julius Chandler officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and for an hour before the services Friday.
