Bertie Mae Clift, 93, of Soddy Daisy, died on Friday, June 19, 2009, in a local hospital.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Clift.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jan Clift, of Soddy-Daisy, and Bobby and Sylvia Clift, of Chattanooga; along with three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be on Monday, June 22, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ted Painter officiating.

Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Brent Clift, Jimmy Clift, Steve Clift, Blane Barnes, David Owens and Steven Clift serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
