J. L. Beyersdoerfer, 85, of Foster died Tuesday at River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.
He was a rural mail carrier for more than 20 years in Foster and California, a farmer, owner of Washington Trace Feed Mill, a beekeeper and member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Pendleton County, Augusta F. & A.M. 80 and Order of the Eastern Star 362 of Augusta.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sally Beyersdoerfer; a daughter, Connie McKinney of Lexington; a son, Steve Beyersdoerfer of Foster; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lenoxburg Cemetery in Bracken County.
