Ronald Keith Brooks, 40, of 225 Locust Ave, Dublin, died Monday evening in the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born Dec. 11, 1940 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Dallas Brooks. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a welder by trade. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Margaret Harris Brooks Mitchell, Orlando, FL; his wife, Mrs. Hattie Taylor Brooks, Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Johnny Kozma, Richmond; one son, Steve Brooks, Lynchburg; also one step-daughter, Mrs. Andy (Sherry) Hurst, Dublin; one step-son, Thomas Marshall, Pulaski, and three step-grandchildren. Also one sister, Mrs. Gary (Diane) Evans, Johnstown, PA, and three brothers, Hylan Brooks, Johnstown, PA, Gary Brooks, Lynchburg, and Dallas Brooks, Maryland. The funeral will be Thursday, at 2 p.m. from the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Dublin, with the Elder Ray White officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be anytime and the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. at the Bower Funeral, Dublin. The family will be meeting at the residence 225 Locust Ave, Dublin. Bower Funeral Home, Dublin, is handling the arrangements.
