Hattie Taylor James, age 83 of Dublin passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born April 7, 1930 in Pulaski County she was the daughter of the late Eugene T. & Mary Kemp Taylor. Her husband; Robert F. James and brother; Stanley Eugene Taylor also preceded her in death. Surviving are son, Thomas L. Marshall, Pulaski; daughter & son-in-law, Sherry Marshall Hurst & husband, Andy, Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Lynn Hughes, Ashley Hurst, Cindy Bailey and Sterling Hurst; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Don Singleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Bower Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
