GALESBURG - Forrest G. Hatfield, 89, 820 E. Fifth St., died Saturday at 7:43 a.m. in Cottage Hospital.
He was born Dec. 24, 1896, in Galesburg.
Surviving is a cousin, Lou Hatfield, Port Charlotte, Fla.
He lived in Galesburg most of his life. He worked at Galesburg Mental Health Center for 15 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Alpha Masonic Lodge 155. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Linwood Cemetery, with Dr. Robert A. Box officiating. There will be no visitation.
Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
