Camilla was the daughter of Richard Rufus Bean and Mary Ellen Ripley. She married 1st James Edward Putney and had 6 children, Jack David, Viola Verna, Hiram Vinton, Herman Edward, Vinton and Vivian Putney. She married 2nd Unknown Funk. She married 3rd Joe Boland.Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Charles City for Millie M. Boland, 94, a longtime Nashuan, who died Saturday night at a Charles City nursing home.

Bu5rial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Nashua.

Millie Mae Bean was born May 20, 1879 at Marysville, KS, the daughter of Richard and Mary Ellen (Ripley) Bean.

She came to Iowa with her parents in a covered wagon at the age of two weeks. She attended school in Nashua.

She was united in marriage to James Edward Putney on November 11, 1896 at Nashua, and they made their home in old Bradford and Nashua. They were parents of six children: Jack, Viola, Hiram, Herman, Vinton and Vivian.

On February 14, 1944, she was married to Christopher J. Boland in Cedar Rapids, in which they made their home. After his death,she had made her home at the 11th St. Chautauqua Guest Home.

Mr. Boland died in 1966. Three children also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Herman Putney of Charles City; two daughters: Mrs. Viola Godderz of Charles City and Mrs. Vivian Cree of Mason City. There are 27 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
