(On 6 April 1635, "husbandman Francis Newcom," aged 30, and "wife & 2 children Rachell Newcom," aged 20, "Rachell Newcom," aged 2½, and "Jo[hn] Newcome," aged 9 months, were enrolled at London as passengers for New England on the Planter). First settled in Boston; later moved to Braintree. Death: "Francis Nucom who was accounted an hundred years old died upon the 27th day of May 1692" at Braintree. (Judging by the age on the passenger list in 1635 and the date of marriage, this age at death is exaggerated by more than a decade.)
