"Mrs. William M. Jones. After aan illness of three years with a complication of diseases Mrs. William M. Jones died Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the family residence, 610 South Eleventh street. Mrs. Jones had spent the past three winters in Florida in the hope of benefiting her health. She returned from Ashville, N.C. last June and has been ill ever since. Mrs. Jones was born in this city March 25, 1841, and spent the greater part of her life here. She was a woman of noble character, possessing a happy disposition and many friends. Her husband died three years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Georgianna A. Jones, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Sweetser of this city and Mrs. Debora Jenners, of Los Angeles, Cal. She also leaves a brother, Martin P. Jenners, of this city. The funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the family residence. Rev. A. G. Work officiated, with interment in [name marked out] cemetery. [handwritten on clipping: "In Green Bush Cemetery."]"
