D. C. Bowers, Jr. Services Set Thursday
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Seydler-Hill chapel for Daniel Clifton Bowers, Jr., who was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital in Georgetown. He was a resident of Round Rock.
The Rev. David Davidson, pastor of the Eastside Baptist church, will conduct the services with burial to take place in the Harwood City cemetery.
Mr. Bowers was born in Gonzales on May 4, 1941, the son of Daniel Clifton and Elnora Machicek Bowers, natives respectively of Luling and Gonzales.
He was a self employed tree surgeon and a member of the Pentecostal church of God.
Survivors are his parents of Round Rock; one sister, Mrs. Tommy (Peggy Jean) Lewallen of Dallas; two nieces and one nephew.
