Billy J. Bowers Dies Friday, Rites Saturday
Last rites were held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning for little Billy James Bowers, two-months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Bowers who passed away at 6:30 o'clock Friday afternoon after a serious case of whooping cough.
Rev. Hal C.Wingo, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating at the services, which were held from the home, and brought a beautiful message of tenderness and sympathy to the grieving parents, and other relatives and friends.
Interment was made in the Harwood cemetery. J. B. Tadlock funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
