Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. October 25, from the Seydler-Hill Funeral Home for Daniel Clifton Bowers, Sr., who died in a St. Petersburg, Glorida, Hospital October 21.
The Rev. Delton Shiflett will conduct the services with burial in the Harwood City Cemetery.
Mr. Bowers was born December 1, 1903, in Luling the son of James and Minnie Smith Bowers. He was married to Elenora V. Marchicek on May 3, 1939 and lived in Elmo where he was a park maintenance employee of the City of Austin. His wife preceded him in death on August 12, 1982. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and one sister.
