PILOT POINT — Funeral services for Thelma Ozelle Holly, 83, of Pilot Point and formerly of the Mountain Springs area will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Milton Pledger, Baptist Minister and Bro. Philip Riegel, Pastor of Calvary Baptist, Pilot Point officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holly went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 21, 2009 while at Denton Region Hospital in Denton

Ozelle was born September 11, 1925 in Mt. Springs to Oscar and Pearl (Massey) Alexander. On June 29, 1942 she married Donald Holly in Marietta, Oklahoma. She worked at Russell Newman Manufacturing, cooked at Pilot Point High School and for SNAP. Ozelle was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point.



Mrs. Holly is survived by three children, Sue Wood and husband Ronald of Callisburg, Gary Holly and wife Lou of Plano and Pamela Maier and husband Larry of Pilot Point; sister, Norma Alexander of Gainesville; grandchildren, Bill Wood, Ann Wood, Jana Schmidlkofer, Wesley Wood, Joell Morris, Jared Maier, Evan Maier, Ashley Maier and Jonathan Holly; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ozell was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Alton Alexander; and sisters, Lorene Hite and Gertrude Smith.

Palbearers will be grandsons, Bill Wood, Wesley Wood, Jared Maier, Evan Maier, Jonathan Holly and Randall Morris.

Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
