Sikeston, MO - Bessie Mae Neal, 57, died at 8:48 a.m. May 14, 2004, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis.
Born Sept. 21, 1946, in Walls, MS, daughter of Mary E. Tate Mitchell of Sikeston and the late Willie Savage Sr., she lived in Sikeston for more than 45 years. She was a member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors in addition to her mother include: five sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky Neal and Rodney Neal, Tony Neal, Tebbie and Kenda Neal, and Tibbie Neal; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Tyrone Warren and Patricia and Albert Arnold; one brother, Willie Savage Jr.; two sisters, Mary Wright and Maxine Johnson; and several stepchildren and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Tommy Neal; and one grandson, Trevor T. Neal.
Visitation was at Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Services were conducted at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston. The Rev. Sylvester Morgan and Bishop Clinton Bryant officiated.
Burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
