Funeral for Loyd Livingston Baker, 75, of Route 5 Hartselle, will Sunday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. J.T. Copeland and the Rev. Billy Cagle officiating.
Burial will be in Basham Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mr. Baker died Friday at Huntsville Hospital. He was a Baptist deacon for 41 years and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a retired contractor. He was born, Feb. 25, l9l7, in Morgan County.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Herring Baker; four sons, Thurman Baker and Perry Baker, both of Decatur, David Baker of Birmingham and Mike Baker of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Carolyn Osborne of Trinity and Diane Long of Hartselle; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Fellowship Baptist Church.
