William T. Bailey 81, of Rushville died January 8, 2004.

Born July 22, 1922 he was the son of Jesse C. & Myrtle (Buchanan) Bailey. He married Dathula Reece in 1948 and she preceded him in death in 1993.

He was retired form Curtis Brothers after 25 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and member of St. Paul United Methodist Church; American Legion; Active in the former Civil Defense.

Survivors include sons William David Bailey of Kissimmee, FL, Michael (wife Susan) of Milton, IN & John of Indianapolis; daughters Melisa A. Hardin of Fishers, IN & Mary Beth Clines of Rushville; sister Jean (Mrs. Reno) Gosser of Rushville; Seven Grandchildren & one great grandchild also survive.

Beside his wife he was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Funeral Service will be 10:00am January 12, 2004 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Charles Aigner officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.

Friends may call JAN 11th from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Heart Association or the Muscular Distrophy Assoc.
