CORINTH - Russell Eugene Wall, 86, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at his home. He was born Dec. 2, 1922, in Alcorn County to Ulyless G. and Onie Robinson Wall. He was a retired factory worker for Tyrone and a member of Farmington Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends, especially his grandson; and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and old tractors and jeeps.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Corinthian Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Wages officiating. Burial will be in Box Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, John Wall (Renea) of Corinth; two brothers, Nelson Wall (Ann) of Corinth and Jim wall (Marie) of Waco, Texas; one sister, Betty Wilbanks (Robert) of Corinth; one grandchild, Ethan Wall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Wall; and three sisters, Allie Mae Wall, Evie Wall and Dorothy Gray.
Pallbearers will be Steve Wall, David Wall, Tommy Hopkins, Brent Burnett, Alton Harville and Mike Simmons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Casey, Mike Wilbanks, Kevin Wilbanks, Lenard Hopkins, Randall Wall, Robert Grant Gray and Troy Stewart.
Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. to service time today
