Helen Ruth Buchholz, 91 of Fort Collins, Colorado, formerly of Sedalia, Mo., passed away on Thursday, January 29th, 2009 in Ft. Collins.

Helen was born on March 9th, 1917 in Sedalia, Mo., the daughter of Patrick Clifford and Emma May (Martin) Clifford. She was united in married to Earl Bucholz who preceded her in death on November 6, 1988.

Helen worked as a manager and buyer for Sears Roebuck in St. Louis, Missouri before moving Sedalia, Missouri, in the early 1970's, where she lived before moving to Fort Collins, Colorado where she resided for the past 10 years.

Helen loved to spend time with her grandchildren, liked to cook, and enjoyed her pets. She was also involved in church activities and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Sedalia, Mo.

Helen is survived by two sons Earl Buchholz, Jr., Miami, Florida and Clifford Buchholz, Ft. Collins, Colorado; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service was held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 2nd, at the Windsor United Methodist Church, with Pastor Rick Adams officiating, A Reception at the Windsor United Methodist Church followed the burial service. Memorial contributions can be made to Pathway Hospice in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, Co 80526. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
