Sedalia, MO- Mary E. Needy, age 94, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center. She was born in Sedalia on June 11, 1914, the daughter of Patrick and May (Martin) Clifford. On August 9, 1932, in Sedalia, she was married to Eugene Francis Needy, who died December 24, 1995. She was raised and educated in Sedalia. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked for J A. Lamys Manufacturing for many years Surviving are a son, a daughter, one sister, four grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Clifford and James Clifford; a sister, Annie Clifford) Winters; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Needy. Mass of Christian Burial will be at a m. on Saturday . November 8. 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Bill Miller officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a m. until service time. The family suggests memorial contributions to Show Me Christian Youth Home or the charity of the donors choice in care of McLaughlin Funeral Home.
