Paul Collins, 59, Automotive Parts Company Owner

Paul H. Collins, 59, owner and president of an Alexandria automotive supply company, died Friday at Alexandria Hospital after a long illnes. He lived at 6389 Edsall Rd. Alexandria.
Mr Collins was President and Owner of Alexandria Auto Parts, which he founded in 1946. He previously was employed by Phelps-Roberts Corp. an area automotive supply firm.
Mr. Collins, a Mississippi native, served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the Optimist Club, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and the Old Dominion Boat Club.
He leaves his wife Ruby Ellen Collins; a son, Ray P., of 5931 Augusta Dr. Springfield; a brother, J.B. Collins of 3602 Newark St. NW; a sister Mrs. Russell Anderson of 910 Davis Ave., Takoma Park; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria, with burial in Fairfax Memory Garden.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation Inc., 2 E. 103rd St., New York City.
