Services will be held 10 a.m. in Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria for Ruby Ellen Ellis who died in Walter Reed Army Hospital on Saturday, Feb 5. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband James Paul Ellis; on son, Ray Paul Collins of Fairfax; one sister, Lola Rice of Muncie, Ind; five brothers, Freddie Wash of Indiana, Doug Wash of Kentucky, Wesley Wash of Alexandria, Sidney Williams and Granville Wash both of Indiana; four grandchildren.
