Excerpt--Mary Florence Ashby, 95, of Cortland, OH, died Dec. 15, 1989, in Warren General Hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1894, in Pa., d/o the late Paul and Melissa Lease DeMoss. She has lived in Cortland for five years and lived in Newburg for most of her life. She is survived by a son, Charles H. Ashby of Millsboro, DE; a daughter, Genevieve Keller of Cortland; two sisters, Beulah Boylan of Ridgely and Blanche Waddell of Rivesville; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe T. Ashby; two daughters, Thelma Ashby and Mildred Lauman. Burial was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
