Mrs. Blanchard was born April 5, 1916, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Joseph H. and Nora Anne (Crabtree) Hughes, who are deceased. She was married June 18, 1939, to Alfred L. Blanchard, who is deceased.
She is survived by a son, Mike; two daughters, Ann Hoeschen and Gail McMillan; a brother, Weldon Hughes; two sisters, Bea Warren and Lena Holt; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, 1712 S. Corona St. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
