Mrs. Helen Elder Smith Adams died in El Paso Thursday evening. Mrs. Adams was born in San Antonio and lived here until her marriage. She was the daughter of the late W. Smith and Alice Devine. She is survived by her husband, Claiborne Adams of El Paso, her mother and her sister, Mrs. Edwin Cassin of this city, her brothers, Larkin Smith of El Paso, Spencer Smith of California, Lieut. Gregory Smith and Malvern Smith of the United States Army, the former now in service in France.

Impressive Service For Late Mrs. Claiborne Adams
Saturday morning at 10 o'clock the funeral service for the late Mrs. Claiborne Adams was held at the Adams home in Kern Place. Rt. Rev. Bishop A. J. Schuler, assisted by Rev. Fr. G. G. Frund, rector of St. Patrick's cathedral, officiated, reading the impressive service of the Catholic church. During the services two solos were rendered by C. J. Andews "Pie Jesu" and "Come Ye Disconsolate." The body was sent to San Antonio, Texas, Saturday afternoon for burial, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Albert T.
