Margaret K. Brady Margaret (Kehoe) Brady, age 95 of Ridgefield, wife of the late Andrew F. Brady, Sr., died Tuesday evening, November 4, 2008 at Danbury Hospital. Mrs. Brady was born in Newburgh, N.Y., February 2, 1913, daughter of Matthew and Anna (Greene) Kehoe. She attended Newburgh schools and at the age of 14 relocated to Ridgefield to reside with her aunt, Mrs. John F. Haight, Sr., as a result of the influenza outbreak which claimed the life of Margaret's mother. She resided with her aunt until her marriage to Andrew F. Brady, Sr. Mrs. Brady was a homemaker for the McKeon and Jessup families of Ridgefield for more than 40 years. Active in the Ridgefield community, she was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels Program, the Ridgefield Historical Society where she spend numerous hours identifying persons and places photographed by Joseph Hartman. As a member of St. Mary's Church, she was also a member of its Rosary Society. The most enjoyment Mrs. Brady would experience was the time spent with friends and family, most especially her grandchildren and great-grand-children. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia B. Shaw and her husband, Franklin Shaw, Jr. of Ridgefield; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Brady was predeceased by a son, Andrew F. Brady, Jr.; by two sisters; and one brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
