Pat is survived by her husband of 62 years, Franklin “Snookie” Shaw and their 4 children: Carolyn Onorato and her husband, James; Jeff Shaw and his wife, Kathy; Jennifer Bergeron and her husband, Tom and Chris Shaw. In addition, Pat is survived by 5 grandchildren who she adored: Tommy and Mary Shaw, Courtney and Bobby Bergeron and James Onorato as well as 2 great grandchildren; Brady and Riley Shaw. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Brady. A life-long Ridgefield resident, Pat was a retired private duty Nurse taking care of local elders in their homes. In her spare time Pat enjoyed swimming with her girlfriends at the Rec Center, concerts at Ballard Park, watching the UCONN women’s basketball team, traveling, and spending time with family and friends, especially Lani and Richie Brown. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church of Ridgefield.
A graveside funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery; 110 North Street, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours. All are welcome to attend the graveside service; social distancing and facial coverings are required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, CHIRP CT or Meals on Wheels of Ridgefield. Kane Funeral Home, Ridgefield is in care of funeral arrangements.
