Norma went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2003, after an ex-tended illness. She was born on June 28, 1926 in Hettinger, North Dakota, to Nels and Violet Lien. Norma loved animals, working in her garden, singing hymns and, most of all, her family. She was a happy, loving, caring mother who was always smiling. She is survived by two sisters, Arliss Craig and Shirley Lien; five children, Patti McCabe, Sharon Grider, Wilfred Smith, Melvin Smith, Stephen Smith; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, January 29 at 1:00 pm at Sumner Cemetery, Puyallup.
