SHENANDOAH - Frances Virginia Blakemore, 59, of 1010 Varine Ave., Shenandoah died Friday at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1927, and was a daughter of the late John E and Mamie Hitt Comer of Shenandoah.
Surviving are her husband, Billy B Blakemore; two daughters, Brenda Kite of Stanley and Donna Gochenour of Shenandoah; a brother John Comer Jr. of Malburg, Md.; a sister Margie Good of Shenandoah; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday at Christ United Methodist Church in Shenandoah by the Rev. Clem Matheny. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Shenandoah.
The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. today at the Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah.
In lieu of flowers, the family said contributions may be made to the Page County Hospice, in care of Joann Glenn, Shenandoah.
