Mrs. Thomson passed away early Thursday morning in an Augusta hospital following a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and a member of the Alston Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Thompson, Alston; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Rusilko, Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. J.T. Sosby, N. Augusta, S.C.; one son, Danny Mac Thompson, Alston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.D. McDaniel, Alston, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. James Hammond, Trion, Ga.
Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers were: LeRoy Downie, Paul Downie, Henry Fulford, John T. McArthur, James Outler, Runt Moses.
Cooper Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of arrangements.
