"Mrs. Maria Josephine Beard, aged 71, died at 9:45 o'clock last night at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. A. Crutchfield,
1301 State Street. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Crutchfield; one brother, C.E. Brown of McRae, and two sons, J.G. and D.A. Beard, both of Little Rock. Mrs. Beard was born in Rutherford county, Tenn. Funeral arrangements have not been announced."
