Harold B. Hankins, 62, of Paducah, died at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on U.S. 60 west near Mayfield-Metropolis Road.
Mr. Hankins was an automobile salesman and car manager in the Paducah are for more that 41 years. He was employed as the car manager for Paul Hankins Ford in La Center.
Mr. Hankins was a member of Reidland Baptist Church for 34 years and was a former deacon and had served on several church committees.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Hankins; his mother, Alta Warford Hankins of Boaz; one son, Kyle Hankins of Nashville, Tenn; four brothers, C.W. Hankins of Wellsville, Mo., Jack Hankins of Metropolis, Paul Hankins of La Center, and Jim Hankins of Paducah; one sister, Imogene Burgess of Boaz; one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Hankins; one brother.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Blizard will officiate. Burial will be in Brooks Memorial Park Cemetery.
