William was the son of George and Martha Albertson. He died at the home of his son George R. Albertson after a few days of illness. he was just 66 years old. He leaves behind six children: Mrs. Rena Cain of Eldorado,KS, Mrs. Eda Galloway of New Boston;Mrs. Ida Mitchell and Mrs. Bertha Stickrod, both of Andalusia,IL; John and George of Aledo, one brother, Guerin, of Jump River WI; one sister Mrs. P.J. Bryington,Binghamptoa,NY and eleven grandchildren .
Mr. Albertson came to IL from PA in 1888, returning to PA in 1896 and then returning to IL in 1902 where he then made his home.
he was a working man up till the week before his death. His death was due to a general break down. He was an honorable man respected by his friends and neighbors, always willing to help his relatives and friends in any way he was able. While not a member of any church he believed in his Heavenly Father and lived a true conscientious Christian life doing unto others as he would have them do unto him.
Services were conducted from the home of his son George R. Albertson on July 13th 1917 Internment was in Aledo Cementary.
