Funeral services for Zell E. Bricker, 85 who died Monday at his Banks township home, will be held at the Hastings Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dan Miner of the East Jordan United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery at East Jordan.
Mr. Bricker was born in Kendallville, Ind, Sept 16, 1895, and came to Banks township with his parents at the age of three years. On March 17, 1921 he was married to the former Jessie Manke at Lansing. They returned to Northern Michigan to make their home in the East Jordan Area and in 1943 moved to their present home north of Ellsworth in Banks township. He was a retired farmer and bee keeper. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Jensen-Richardson Post No. 488, American Legion.
He is survied by his wife; two daughter Mrs.Glen(Lillian) Gee of East Jordan; Mrs. Willard (Jeannette) Muma of Ellsworth and a son, Elwood (Zola) Bricker of Lansing, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a brother Earl of East Jordan.
