A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, September 4, at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will be at 12 noon Friday, September 5, in the National Cemetery in Salisbury, N.C., with Rev. Douglas Smith officiating.
Mr. Davidson was of the Baptist faith, and was employed with Gleason Home Improvements. He faithfully and honorable served his county as a Sargent first class tank commander, in the United States Army, during the Korean War.
Carl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Davidson of Greensboro; children, Randy Davidson of Julian, Gregory Davidson of Asheboro, Carlanna Puckett of Eagle Springs, and George Davidson of Sophia, N.C. Also surviving are four sisters; two brothers; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
