Raymond Shunk.
__Raymond H. Shunk, 56, of 2046 First avenue NE, a resident of Cedar Rapids the last 22 years, died at his home at 12:30 p.m. Thursday following a lingering illness.
__Born on a farm northeast of Marion April 11, 1893, he was an employe of St. Luke's hospital until ill health forced his retirement six years ago.
__Surviving are his wife, the former Jennie Skea; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Rose, of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Barclay Heald, of Springfield; a brother, Earl H. Shunk, of Cedar Rapids, and three grandchildren..
__He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church.
__Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 3:30 p.m. Saturday by Dr. Marvin B. Kober. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. Friday.
