Dave Benjamin Moore, 84, of Charleston died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Monroe. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member and deacon of Hosanna Freewill Baptist Church and a self-employed rancher.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hosanna Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Hosanna Cemetery northwest of Charleston under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; four sons, evangelist David Moore, Melvin and Tony Moore, and the Rev. Randy Moore, all of Charleston; a half sister, Georgetta Newby of Poteau; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Justin and T.J. Moore, Dalton Brown, Kenny Dorsey, John Phillips Jr. and Ralphie Rogers.
