INDIANOLA, IA - Foster Sarchett, 76, Indianola farmer and well-know breeder of Belgian horses, died Saturday in the Knoxville Community Hospital.
Mr. Sarchett, who had lived all of his life on a farm west of Indianola, was a past president of the Iowa Draft Horse and Mule Association.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial in the IOOF Cemetery.
Mr. Sarchett is survived by his wife Lois, a daughter, four grandchildren and two sisters.
