Nancy Ruth Vanderford was born July 22, 1950 to Leon and Lillie Vanderford. Nancy was my Aunt. She was only 4 years older and I thought she "hung the moon". She was very active in her church. She loved to sing.
She was student at Bolton High School until her death when she was only 16 years old, October 3, 1966. She lost control of her car while hurrying home from school. Her tragic death shook our family to the core. She was much loved by her family and friends.
