Leon worked for Firestone for years and retired from there. He loved Black Angus cattle and had a farm in Bolton where he raised them. He loved his wife and daughters passionately and when Nancy died he almost died with her. He had a heart for God and was active in his church. He loved to play tennis. The tennis courts in Bartlett, TN at Freeman Park were named in his honor after his death. Heaven better have ice cream because he loved ice cream.
