Born to a family that came to Texas right after the Republic was found, Thomas (Tommy)was a true Southern Gentleman.

Born to Thomas Christopher Barber and Murrna Doris Terry of the San Saba Terry's (founding Fathers of San Saba, Texas)Tommy was raised to love Texas. He always said if you cut him he would bleed Texas instead of blood. Nothing was more fun for him than to go riding around in the jeep at the deer lease or fishing at the river.

A strong silent type. You would never hear him raise his voice and if you did you know you were in deep do-do. All it took was a look and you knew what he wanted you to do.

He loved his wife till the day he died and she still loves him and misses him.

He tried to instill respect for women and older folks and would be the first one to correct you about it. Is one of the reason we still say "yes, Mamm" to ppl.
