She married Guiseppa Raso in 1926 and then Frank Accettola in 1927.

She was a member of The Church of the Anointment where she was the Mother of the church. She was also a member of Ladies of Christopher Columbus Society.

FILOMENA "FANNY" DiFALCO ACCETTOLA

Filomena "Fanny" DiFalco Accettola, 76, 11669 Ridgefield Ave NE, died at Alliance City Hospital at 10:50 p.m. Saturday following a brief illness.
Mrs. Accettola was born in Wellsville, March 12, 1905 to Michael and Lucia DiFalco and had lived in Alliance for 57 years.
She was a member of The Church of the Anointment where she was the Mother of the church, and she was also a member of Ladies of Christopher Columbus Society. Her husband Frank died in January of 1971.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Joan) Ingledue and Miss Mary Accettola both of Salem, and Mrs. Nick (Lucy) Conti of Alliance with whom Mrs. Accettola resided; a sister Mrs. Jenny LaNave of Toronto, Oh; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 1280 S Mahoning Ave location of The Church of the Anointment with Rev. Lucia Contesta, Mrs. Accettola's daughter officiating. Burial will be in Alliance City Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sharer-Stirling Funeral Home Tuesday, 7-9 p.m.
