Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Opal Bartlett, 61, of 4049 Hershel, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Jefferson Street Dudley M. Hughes Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bartlett died Wednesday while on a trip to California. She was a member of the first Baptist Church in Leonard. The Leonard native had been a Dallas Resident for the past 25 years where she worked as an apartment manager.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Bartlett of Dallas, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Jubela of Redwood City, California, a brother, James Sadler (Creed) of Leonard; two sisters, Mrs. Beadie Hooks of Leonard and Mrs. Bertha Bowles of Dallas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
