Mary Sadler was born Mary B. Sadler, but to everyone she ever met and to most of her family, she was known as "Beadie", a name she gave herself as a child. Beadie was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was born April 1, 1901 to William Henry Sadler and Adeline McCaslin. She and her first husband, Holland Fee Goodwin, had two daughters, Lois Mae and Johnnie Faye Goodwin. When Holland died in a tragic accident in 1926, she was left a widow with two young daughters. She married again on Jan 7, 1928 to William Hooks. From that union, there were three children: Billy Roy, Charles Ray and Peggy Jean Hooks. William had also lost his wife and Beadie raised his two sons, Bob and Claude as her own. She is survived by daughters, Lois Hackworth, Johnnie Sizemore, and Peggy Pannkuk and sons Billy Roy, Charles, and Claude along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
