Mrs. Bud Davis, 59, Dakota City, died Monday at Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
The former Esther L. Cornelius, she was born Oct 16, 1907, at Wewoka, Okla., and was married to Bud Davis Dec 3, 1927, in Sioux City. She was a resident of Sioux City and South Sioux City before moving to Dakota City in 1961.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Church of Sioux City; a son Lester L. Davis; her mother, Mrs. Goldie Bastedo of South Sioux City; a brother, Donald Cornelius of South Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Louise Haremza of Robbindsdale, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Jack Becker Funeral Home, South Sioux City.
