Byron Presley, 68, Rt. 2, Paris, died Thursday, Feb 21, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, in Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Presley was born June 9, 1922, in Paris, a son of William and Velma Sanders Presley. He married Joanna Price on March 4, 1948, in Paris. He was a truck driver, a rancher and was a Baptist. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Sammy Presley of Albuquerque, N.M., Danny Presley of New Orleans, La., and Tommy Presley of Paris; four brothers, James Presley of Pralin, N.J., Bobby Presley of Garland, Hugh Presley of Odessa and James Hazel Presley of of DeKalb; two sisters, Myra Ann Richardson of Dallas and Wilma Smith of Dallas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
