She was the daughter of the late Horace John and Mabel (Bortner) Burns.
Mrs. Flickinger graduated from high school in Emerson, NJ and for many years, she had been a self employed seamstress. Prior to that, she worked as a dental assistant in New York.
Cas was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a lifetime member and past president of Alpha Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, both of Littlestown. Many years ago, she was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader.
She was the wife of John H. Flickinger, who departed this life December 10, 1995, and surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carol M. and Robert L. Kimmey of Littlestown; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Grace and Clyde Sterner of Hanover; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Burns.
