John H. Flickinger, 84, N. Queen St., Littlestown died Sunday, Dec 10 at his home.
Born Dec. 6, 1911 in Littlestown, he was the son of the late Daniel and Carrie (Feeser) Flickinger. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Burns Flickinger.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Littlestown, a life member of both the Eagle's and Fire Co. of Littlestown Town Council as Treasurer for 50 years.
a 1930 graduate of Littlestown High School, he was retired from LeVan's Heating and Plumbing Gettysburg and served in the Army and Air Force during World War II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Carol L. Kimmey of Littlestown and one sister, Grace L. Sterner of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 13, at Littles Funeral Home, Littlestown with the Rev. Clifton J. Suehr officating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
