There will be an 11 a.m. graveside service for her Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Rev. Gary Regan of First United Methodist Church.
Miss Stevenson was born June 19, 1902 in the Milton community in Lamar County. She was the daughter of George A. Stevenson and the former Maude Kimball. She moved to Paris when quite young and attended Paris schools and Paris Commercial College. She worked for a number of years for Speas Manufacturing Co. and the Southland Cotton Co. She served as secretary of the Paris Independent School District, retiring in 1968. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a number of cousins.
