Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fry-Gibbs chapel by the Rev. John Shuler of First Methodist Church, where Mrs. Stevenson was a member. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Born in Lamar County, just west of Halesboro community, April 24, 1881, Mrs. Stevenson was a daughter of John W. and Clement (Binnion) Kimball. Her marriage to Mr. Stevenson took place, January 9, 1901, and he died April 10, 1957. Mrs. Stevenson had attended Lamar County and Paris schools, and lived here all her life except two years when she and her husband were residents of Liberty. She leaves one daughter, Miss Maurie Stevenson, Paris; a sister, Mrs. Ollie Clardy, Vivian, La., and a nephew, Otis Kimball of Alpine.
