Edith Kleiber Chambers, 86 of Alvin and formerly of Milam County died Sunday, January 4. Services 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 8, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. Local visitation will be held Thursday January 8 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel in Cameron. Mausoleum-side services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Monica's Mausoleum in Cameron.
Mrs. Chambers was born September 30, 1917 in the Ad Hall Community of Milam County to Frank and Emily Kleiber. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin.
Survivors include; her husband of 62 years, Homer A. Chambers; son Eugene Chambers and wife Carole 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
